01Introduction
ZARAS AI LLC ("Company", "we", "us") operates Zaras (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Service.
02Mobile applications
Zaras Field, our mobile companion app for iOS and Android, is covered by this same Privacy Policy.
Camera & photo library. The app may access your device's camera and photo library solely so you can capture and attach job photos, and only with your permission through the operating system's permission prompt.
Location. The app does not collect precise device location. Jobs are organized by the street addresses entered into the Service.
Crash & diagnostic data. To keep the app reliable, the app collects crash and diagnostic data through Sentry, our crash-reporting provider.
No advertising or tracking. Zaras Field contains no advertising and does not track you across other apps.
03Information we collect
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, business name, and phone number.
Business data. Data you enter into the Service, including customer records, job details, estimates, invoices, notes, file attachments, and communication logs.
Photos & attachments. Photos and images you capture or upload as attachments, such as job-site photos added from the Zaras Field app.
Usage data. We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, browser type, device information, and IP address.
Crash & diagnostic data. If the mobile app crashes or malfunctions, we collect diagnostic data — device model, operating system version, and crash logs — so we can find and fix the problem.
Payment information. Payment details are collected and processed by our third-party payment processor (Stripe). We do not store your full credit card information on our servers.
SMS & phone number data. We collect phone numbers provided directly by customers or entered by businesses into the Service. When text messages are sent through the Service, we store SMS message logs — including timestamps and delivery status — for the purposes of service delivery and troubleshooting. We do not sell or share phone numbers with third parties for marketing purposes. SMS services are provided via Twilio, and Twilio's privacy policy governs the transmission of messages through their infrastructure.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

05Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

We do not sell, rent, or share end-user phone numbers or SMS consent data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
06Data storage & security
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard infrastructure. We use encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and implement access controls to protect your information. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
07Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Upon account termination, we will retain your data for a reasonable period to allow for export, after which it will be securely deleted. Some data may be retained longer as required by law.
08Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access and export your data at any time through the Service
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and associated data

These rights cover all data associated with your account, whether created through the web application or the Zaras Field mobile app, including photos and attachments.
09Cookies
We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. We may use analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used. You can control cookie settings through your browser.
10Third-party services
The Service integrates with third-party services: Stripe (payment processing), Twilio (SMS delivery), Supabase (hosted database and authentication infrastructure), and Sentry (crash reporting and diagnostics for the mobile app). These services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.
11Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from a child, we will delete it promptly.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
Revision 2026.07 (effective July 20, 2026): added mobile app (Zaras Field) coverage — camera and photo library, crash reporting, and third-party service updates.
