Use the calendar and the Schedule tab

The calendar shows appointments, not jobs: a job's visits, estimate appointments, and standalone events such as meetings or blocked time. A job with no visit is not on the calendar — schedule a visit and it appears.
On the web
Open Calendar in the sidebar. The toolbar switches between four views — Day, Week, Month and Flow, a scrolling list of everything coming up — and Today jumps back to the current date. Show team view lays the day out as one lane per technician, with an Unassigned lane for work nobody is on yet.
The sidebar filters what you see. Calendar layers turns Jobs, Estimates, Events and US holidays on or off; Status narrows visits to Scheduled, In progress, Completed or Cancelled; Team shows everyone or just the people you pick. Reset filters clears it all.
To reschedule, drag the item to a new time or day, or drag its edge to change how long it runs. A toast confirms the new time (or the new technician, when you drop it in another lane in team view) and Undo puts it back. Estimates and events move the same way.
Click an item for its details — customer, address, phone, assignees, total — and its actions: View job or View estimate, Start visit and Complete visit, Edit event and Delete event.
Search calendar (/) in the toolbar — or the / key, or Cmd+K / Ctrl+K, while on the calendar — finds anything on the schedule by title, job or estimate number, contact or address. Past work lives on the job, estimate and contact records.
Colour
Each job and estimate carries a colour that the calendar paints it in. Set it from the calendar, not the record: on the web, the colour swatch in the item's popover; in the Zaras app, Calendar color on the event sheet, with Default to clear it. Events get their own Color when you create or edit them.
Meetings and blocked time
New event puts something on the calendar that is not a job: a meeting, a supplier pickup, a day off. It has a Title, optional Customer and Location, Technicians, Notes and a Color; Create event saves it and Delete event cannot be undone. An event has no visits, invoice or line items.
In the Zaras app
The Schedule tab shows the same appointments in Flow, Day, Team (one lane per technician, for office roles once the workspace has two or more members) and Month views, with Filters, Search schedule and Team views — arrange technicians into crews and Save layout — at the top. Tap an appointment for its sheet: Call, Directions, Calendar color, Start visit or Resume visit, and Reschedule; there is no drag in the app.
Who can do this
Moving and creating appointments is part of the calendar permission that owners, admins and technicians hold by default; if you cannot, ask an owner or admin to grant calendar to your role.
